Dr. Lane Arrendell

Dr. Lane has been practicing in East Texas since 2010. She is a 2009 graduate from Texas A&M University and began her practice at Veterinary Services of Gladewater in May 2016. She purchased the practice in January 2020, renaming it Healthy Paws Animal Hospital in 2021. Dr. Lane enjoys practicing in a small community and enjoys the relationships she builds with her clients from Gladewater, White Oak and the surrounding communities. She has three sons, Rhett, Rowan, and Kullen. She and her husband, Clint, enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with their children.

Dr. Tori Chambers

Dr. Tori Chambers began her career in veterinary medicine in 2014 and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 2021. She joined Healthy Paws Animal Hospital that same year and became a part owner in 2024. Dr. Chambers is passionate about preventive medicine, improving quality of life for pets, and performing soft tissue surgery. She loves Healthy Paws' team-focused culture and commitment to exceptional patient care and client service. Dr. Chambers enjoys spending time with her husband, Drew, and their three pets—Jethro, a black Labrador Retriever; Mia, a Rat Terrier mix; and Jack Jack, a tuxedo cat.

Dr. Ian Spencer

Dr. Ian Spencer began his career in veterinary medicine in 2012. After receiving his undergraduate degree from East Texas Baptist University, he continued his education at Texas A&M University. He graduated with his doctorate of veterinary medicine in 2021. Dr. Spencer loves helping people by helping their pets. He has been with Healthy Paws Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian since April 2022. Dr. Spencer and his wife, Shelby, are the proud parents to their sons John and Lee. They share their home with two cats, Dash and Violet. Dr. Spencer enjoys spending time outdoors, running, and biking.

Sam Blount, LVT

Sam graduated from Volunteer State Community College in 2020 and began her career in veterinary medicine in 2020. She began working at Healthy Paws in August 2024. She loves getting to help pets feel their best and loves the family feel of the Healthy Paws staff and our relationship with the community. She and her husband Cade share their home with two chihuahuas Penny and Lila. Sam enjoys cooking, yoga and traveling.

Taylor Dugan, CVA I

Taylor has worked in veterinary medicine since 2015 and started working at Healthy Paws in November 2021. She graduated from Tyler Junior College with an associate’s degree in Animal Science. Taylor’s favorite thing about veterinary medicine is getting to see all the patients and being the best advocate for them; also seeing a smile on the owners faces when their fur-baby has improved under our care. Taylor, her husband, Mike, and their children Edith and Owen share their home with Red Tick Coon Hound named Beaudroux, a Chocolate Lab named Case, and a French-ton named Walker. In her free time, she enjoys being with family, reading, movie nights, and spending time outdoors.

Danyele Ferguson

Veterinary Technician Dept Lead

Danyele has worked in veterinary medicine since 2016. Danyele previously worked at Veterinary Services of Gladewater; she returned to work at Healthy Paws in March 2022 and was promoted to department lead in 2024. Her favorite thing about working in veterinary medicine is advocating for her patients. She loves the healthy work environment that Healthy Paws offers. Danyele and her husband Chris share their home with two mixed breed dogs named Cassie and Sophie and a Bassett Hound named Bentlee. When she’s not working, Danyele enjoys spending time with her family.

Receptionist

Kim Evans, VRCE

Kim started her career in veterinary medicine in December 2015. She received her Veterinary Receptionist Certificate of Excellence (VRCE) in 2024. She loves the variety of pets we see and the relationships she makes with the owners. Her favorite thing about Healthy Paws is the great team she works with. Kim is married to her high school sweetheart Thomas, with children Chace and Riley. She is a proud grandmother of Kassidie, Tinley, and Brooklyn. Kim shares her home with dogs Angel, Annie, Bumper, Chewy, Darby, and Piper, and cats Munchkin and Mamma Kitty. In her free time, Kim spends time with her grandkids.
